WHY WE TRAVEL
Distance shouldn't decide who gets to hear
For many First Nations communities in the Fraser Canyon and Interior, the nearest hearing clinic is hours away a full day of travel for a one-hour appointment, repeated for every fitting and follow-up. The predictable result: hearing loss goes untested and untreated for years.
Carter Hearing built its practice around closing that gap. We bring calibrated testing equipment, hearing aids and wax removal tools directly to community and we come back, because hearing care is a relationship, not a single visit.
"How can we help?" has always been our guiding question. If your community needs hearing care, the answer starts with one phone call.
“Better hearing can make conversations, family time and community life feel more connected.”
